the primary fabric used to create these pieces is manufactured in Japan and has a fantastic iridescent quality. as such the colours appear to subtly change depending on the direction of the light source and the viewing angle of the observer, often creating a 'shimmering' effect.

as the pieces in the organza series have been created using layered fabric, it is not recommended that they are hung in places prone to excess moisture (ie. bathrooms and kitchens), however as the fabric is lightfast they can be hung in bright rooms with little or no deterioration over the years.
